Re: Mommy's Princess Sequoia
April, she's so sweet. And she looks like she's very happy and content! It's amazing how much they change in a week. I think Sequoia and Jake both have changed a lot in the past week, but are even cuter than before! How do they do that?!!?

I have wanted to take some pics with a black background, but I just don't have a black blanket or sheet, any suggestions?

I used black fleece. Its not a very big spread so I cant use it when she gets bigger. I have also a king sized flat sheet that I use for bigger subjects. I opened up all my blinds in my livingroom, draped the fleece over the couch, layed her on the elephant, had a big kid for a spotter in case she rolls, and i snap away with my Nikon D40. I also use photoshop to touch up the photos. The fleece had her dandruff on it and she had a eye boogie. I think she has a blocked tear duct. The key to good pictures is lighting and make sure the camera is in focus. And go from there.

Sequoia- you are such a beautiful girl, and already a pro with the modeling.
Her eyes are so beautiful, April. Great pics thanks for sharing.
Do you have the free photoshop or paid version?

I say "free" lightly because it was "free" just not free. Hmm Well..I stole it off the internet. As well as the code. Maybe it just happened to fall into my computer. I don't recall. Cant prove a thing. I plea innocent.
Really..Its a very hard program to use. I am no way near perfect at it. PS can do so much more then I can or even know how to. I can touch up picutures, swap heads or objects, do cutesy things like make rubix cubes or put nice frames around photos, but i would love to take a class on how to do more. My cousin bought the program and it sits in a drawer. She can not figure out how to use it but has yet to ask me.. if she asked, iw ould help.. so she is out $80.

Thanks everyone! I am hoping people start getting creative on here and give me some cute ideas to do as well. I do eventually run out of ideas. So lets get to it ladies! LOL Our babies are coming and growing already! We need to preserve the moments.
