Heard something this morning

and I am really freaking out.

I was getting the kids dressed and the radio was on. I was half listening and heard them say a 13 year old girl was last seen walking down Clough Pike last night, and her name was Brianna Marie Combs.

Well I had a little girl in my old daycare class about 8-9 years ago. She would have been 4. So the name and the age matches up. So I have googled and done everything to get more info hoping that I miss heard since I was dressing all 3 kids at the same time. I can not find anything on it at all. Nothing on any news stations, nothing on Amber Alerts. My mom has had the radio on and she has not heard anything.

Ugh I am so sick over this.

Jamie--could you call the radio station requesting more information, such as where they found the story? I tried looking up local newspapers but couldn't get anything to come up either. It might be worth a try. I hope it's not someone you know. Keep us posted please!!!

I called them and was on hold for over 30 minutes. I have been looking up so much crap that I am getting things with Holly Marie Combs come up.

I am hoping that means I just heard the whole wrong.

I tried looking her up too and could not find anything, by that name. Maybe she has returned safely to her family before it got to amber alert status.

I hope everything is OK. Being that there is nothing online about it, gives me the assumption that she is alright.

Jamie--so frustrating about being on hold so long. I hope that Aqua is right and that there was nothing wrong in the long run!!
