What are you giving your hubby for Valentines?

I need help with a good gift for my husband. He wanted so new much needed parts for his grill burners so I got those but that just doesn't seam like a good Valentines gift.

Any ideas?

Potentially a baby. I've been having regular contractions since 5 this morning. Otherwise I am getting him chocolate dipped strawberries, a card, and we are going out for Sushi tomorrow nite. He gave me a beautiful ruby and diamond necklace this morning for my birthday.

Wow, well keep us posted on the contractions. Chocolate dipped strawberries sounds wonerful but I might go with white chocolate since we both really don't care for regular chocolate.

Maybe our first baby will be born! I am horrible about Valentine's Day. I am so focused on the baby and my son right now (sick). My DH's birthday is Monday so we tend to celebrate that more. We will probably have a family night out to dinner on Saturday.

Oh, and I am still hoping that my husband does something nice for me since I dropped the ball this year!

I told my DH that I wanted this year to be low key, just a family affair, not just about him and I, since we only have a week or so left with Sweet Olivia. We likely will just go to our favorite Mexican Place and cuddle once Olivia goes to bed, she has an early bedtime so we will have most of the night to ourselves. My friend gave me a bottle of Alcohol Free Wine, I can't wait to try it, I think we will crack it open tomorrow night, I hope its delicious.

And I told him no Valentines Day Present, because my 30th Birthday and the Baby are coming up, I would rather him save his present ideas for those events, and ideally roll all the presents into one.

I would however LOVE Chocolate Covered Strawberries, and I have hinted at that a few times - DELISH. I wish there was something food wise I could get him. I bought him a Bourbon Bouquet, different bottles of bourbon two years ago and he loved it, but he still has so much left from other events, people always give him different bottles, so that wouldn't be a very needed present right now. Plus I know his guy friends will give him some once Avery arrives.

SEX! haha he may get some tonight because we are going on a date night and since our DS is sleeping at someones house tonight i may give him some more in the morning!! We dont usually exchange gifts for anything we save the money and do something big during the year instead!

Maybe sex. We have a wedding to go to, so it depends on how late we're there. I guess I could give him some morning lovin', just to make sure...

I will likely "give it up" as well, which if you guys knew me in person, you would laugh so hard that I am using that language...I am laughing outloud at myself.

I dont feel up to sex...so i will probably just give him a blow job. Although, I have been throwing up today..so that will have to get better first.

SOrry to hear your still getting sick. My dh would LOVE if i gave him your gift. But i hate the work involved and bending over. lol We are not exchanging gifts. We never do.

DH and I exchanged gifts today because he has to pull a 24hr shift tomorrow so we won't be together. It's actually the 3rd year in a row we won't be spending Valentine's Day with one another but we'll "celebrate" tonight. He bought me a 60 min pregnancy massage, so excited!!! I bought him this cool picture collage thing that has a picture of his favorite baseball player, a baseball card and baseball image with the player's signature on it. DH seemd to really like it, it will hang in his sports room.

We're going to the movies and dinner this evening and I'm sure the night will end with some sex. I'm feeling like we both deserve it I just hope we can find a comfortable position, that's getting tricky these days!

We're not doing anything. We'll go out next week as a last date before Matthew comes. I might make dinner and/or breakfast depending if I get up and out to the grocery store tomorrow morning. I refuse to go after 8AM. That place is crazy!!

DH and I just laughed at remembering that Vday is tomorrow!! We won't be doing anything, though I will probably (using someone else's words) "give it up"--ha ha, now I'm laughing at myself too! I typically get my boys some candy or chocolate, but I really don't have the energy to put anything together or to go into town and buy something. I'm lame.

I realized that I didn't get anything for Olivia...In MIL bought her a stuffed bear with "Love" written all over it, not my style at all, but at least she got something, I will be sure to put it in all the pictures we take of her tomorrow. HA.

ArmyWife - what movie are you going to see? I would love to go to the movies, get some delicious popcorn and a big fat Cherry Coke...my favorite part of the movies is the Cherry Coke. And make sure you use that Pregnancy Massage soon, some places get really nervous about doing it too late in the pregnancy, the spa I went to required a note from my OB since I was in the 3rd Trimester. I would love a prenatal massage right about now.

We don't really do much for Valentines, but this year we are going out for a very nice dinner (tonight to miss the crowd) and we already exchanged since the day itself is irrelevant to us. I gave him bags of white chocolate and a huge jar of fancy olives (he loves em). He gave me a big box of dark chocolate Godiva truffles

LGTWifey: We went to see "He's Just Not That Into You" and I certainly enjoyed the buttery popcorn! The movie was cute, even Dh enjoyed it. I scheduled my massage for next week Thursday, I'll be 35w 2d and they seemed ok with that. I am just looking forward to being pampered for an hour!

DH says this is a made up Holiday. If I get him something he gets mad. So he gets me something and I give him sex. Thats about it.

I am going to see the movie tomorrow with my SIL. I can't wait for a Diet Coke and popcorn (extra butter)!

Mine put in a request for a BJ...so I suppose I have to comply. I'm getting a night in Savannah and and nice dinner...so I suppose it's a fair trade.

I can't wait to see that movie, I have been dying to see it. I was hoping to talk my GF's into seeing it before Avery gets here, maybe next Sunday night after my BF lands, I can't wait to see her, its been 16 months!!!

lol my Dh ended up getting a crib and changing table to put together until 1am hahah.. Our plan was to have sex but we were both too tired by the time we got done putting the room together.
