**UPDATE on JeniDwy**

As of 9pm Jeni's water is FINALLY broken. She seems to be doing pretty good. She has been in the hospital for over 36 hours now, so, I am hoping that she will finally get some action going! As far as I know, she is only doing pitocin right now. She is wanting to go natural. I know she has to be tired at this stage! I will keep all of you posted when I find out anything.

Good luck, Jeni!! Hopefully she was able to get some rest while her contractions weren't painful. 36 hours is a long time already!!

Ok...I just got another text from Jeni. She is now on the epidural and her midwife stretched her again and labor is finally progressing. She was dilated to 5cm at 6 am this morning, and 80% effaced. They are expecting delivery of Lily around 3pm or so this afternoon.
I told her she is doing great and she deserved an epidural after all this time! Hopefully the next time I update you ladies, she will have Lily in her arms!

Jeni was to start pushing around 4 is what the last message said! Not much longer now!!

Can't wait for the next update! I hope things finish off smoothly for her, after all this time she deserves to pop that baby out in 1 push!

Congratulations! Wow that is a long labor. Mine was pretty much 6 hours 55 minutes, and I didn't think I was going to make it. You are a trooper for sure! Can't wait to see pics!

i apologize for the one handed typing and short response, but i know many of you can relate. lily is sleeping in other arm. thank you all for your support and well wishes. we're finally home (discharged today). have yet to sleep a total of 10 hours since it all started friday and am happy to finally be home. trying to take one thing at a time. here is one of the photos i took at the hospital. didnt take many due to crappy lighting. More photos and the birth story will follow soon, but for now:

Lily Grace was born 3/15/09 @4:43 pm via vaginal delivery after a very long 3 day induction due to cholestasis of pregnancy.
7 lbs, .09 ounces
